Residential Services

Living In a Family Environment (L.I.F.E.) is what BASCA homes are all about.  Family dinners, outings together, church on Sunday, or just watching our favorite programs in the evening.  Everyone wants and needs a safe and loving home, and BASCA L.I.F.E. homes are that and happy places too.

The “Family Environment” includes  Live-in House Parents, and/or personal Direct Care staff in each home.  They provide guidance with decision-making and life skills and day to day supervision.  The residents have private bedrooms with large closet space and may share a bathroom with one other person. Each individual receives transportation services to/from work/ADT programs as our residential service.

We believe in serving as an extension of the family home to promote independence, personal growth, Christian character and citizenship.

Additionally, each of our BASCA L.I.F.E. homes are also equipped with a space for Respite Care. Respite Care provides supportive care and supervision to a recipient when the primary caregiver is unable to perform these duties due to a planned brief absence, an emergency absence, or when the caregiver is available but temporarily physically unable to care for or supervise the recipient for a brief period.
